Some people are born into the world. Juan Hernandez was born into the wild.
Raised in the unforgiving swamps of the Florida Everglades, he was surviving before he could walk—learning to navigate a landscape where alligators and black bears were neighbors, not nuisances. By the age of eight, he was boxing. By nine, he was an entrepreneur. By sixteen, he was building homes with his bare hands and quietly laying the foundation for a martial arts career that would redefine his future.
At eighteen, he launched a construction company. At twenty-four, he was a commercial farmer, scaling the cultivation of exotic fruits with the precision of an industrialist. But the physical world was never enough. He needed to master the body, the mind, and the environment simultaneously.
In 2006, Juan began his study of Shaolin Kung Fu and Bagua Zhang. Over two decades later, those disciplines have forged him into something rare: a man whose movements are not rehearsed, but instinctive. Lethal. He doesn’t perform combat—he delivers it.
His entry into the stunt world was accidental, but inevitable. A favor for a friend on set led him into the fray. The moment he saw a car flip and an explosion rip through a highway sequence, he was hooked. Not by the spectacle—but by the choreography of controlled destruction. He found his calling in the space where physics meets art, and where risk is simply another variable to manage.
Today, Juan is the director’s secret weapon—the first call when a scene demands authenticity over simulation. With over twenty years on screen, his resume reads like a survivalist’s dream journal: high falls, tactical driving, helicopter rappelling, complex rope work, underwater stunts, and advanced explosive FX. He is a PADI Rescue Diver, a Safety Diver, and a Red Cross-certified Lifeguard with trauma training. Whether he’s dropping thirty feet onto a moving vehicle or orchestrating a twelve-car pursuit through rush-hour traffic, Juan operates with the cold clarity of a man who has seen worse—and walked away.
This isn’t a performance. This is a mindset born from a lifetime of high-stakes environments: hazmat hauling, construction engineering, live-event logistics, and real-world rescue missions. When the chaos hits, Juan doesn’t flinch. He commands the frame.
